RARE AND NEW SPECIES OF MOTHS FOR THE WEST POMERANIAN VOIVODESHIP
Abstract
This report presents selected species of moths recorded during research conducted in the Wolin National Park in 2024, which are either rare in Poland or were reported for the first time in West Pomeranian (Zachodniopomorskie) voivodship. The species listed were caught in light traps and are housed in the auditors’ collections. The names, taxonomy and distribution were adopted from the Distributional Checklist of the Lepidoptera of Poland (Buszko and Nowacki, 2017). Species new to the West Pomeranian Voivodeship are marked with an asterisk next to the species name (*), while those confirmed from this area for the first time after an extensive interval are distinguished with two asterisks (**).
