The aim of this study was to determine the financial losses due to premature logging of pine stands affected by mistletoe (Viscum album spp. austriacum (Wiesb.) Vollm.) in the Radom and Celestynów Forest Districts. Losses correspond to V variants. The lowest losses were recorded in variant II, amounting to 94.04 thousand PLN in the Radom Forest District and 81.23 thousand PLN in the Celestynów Forest District. The highest losses were obtained in variant V, amounting to 238.96 thousand PLN in the Radom Forest District and 599.05 thousand PLN in the Celestynów Forest District. The total area affected by mistletoe was over 46 hectares in both forest districts during 2020-2022. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the area damaged and affected by mistletoe in Poland. This leads to losses due to premature logging of stands, which are utilized before they rotation age.
