Determinants of valuation land bought by State Forests

Abstract

The article presents analisys of the purchase of ground made by Forest Districts Leśny Dwór and Łupawa ( in 2021-2023). Data and information used in the research come from the appraisal reports done to determine the value of ground in order to its acquisition. The purchase price of 1 ha land showed crucial differences depending on the variable parameters identified as determinants which  are: ground-type of use, features of the forest stand like a habitat, bonitation, forest cover, its age and species composition or technical quality, land area, location predisposition and changing of the wood prices depending on the current market situation.
