A total of 1189 woody plants belonging to 35 species and 15 families were recorded in a historic park in Żegocino. The most common species here include wych elm Ulmus glabra, Norway maple Acer platanoides, small leaved linden Tilia cordata and European white elm Ulmus laevis. Black elder Sambucus nigra dominates among shrubs. Young trees ranging in size between 40–129 cm and 10–19 m in height are the most numerous. Native species are the most numerous in this park (71.4%). The health condition of surveyed trees is mostly regarded as very good and good (78.1%). Among 140 most valuable trees, 84 are of nature monument dimensions, 20 of monumental-like size and 36 of grand size. 37 trees were selected for protection as natural monuments. The park is untended and its part has taken a form of a compact forest complex. This place requires professional treatment.
