Silvarum Colendarum Ratio et Industria Lignaria

Introduction. The historic palace park in Debrzno-Wieś was established in the second half of the 18th century. The park was listed in the Register of Monuments in 1981 under the number A – 383. Currently, the palace part of the park covers an area of 1.6 hectares and is protected by conservation. The aim of the work was to make an inventory of the dendroflora of the historic park in Debrzno Wsi, measure the current dimensions and assess the state of health.

Material and methods. Field research was carried out in the spring and summer of 2021. A map of the distribution of the examined specimens was also made. 

Results. 29 woody plant taxa from 22 genera and 16 families were inventoried. Health status of most dendroflora (70%) rated as good (4) or very good (5). It was determined that 19 trees reached the monuments circuits.

Conclusion. The current state of the park in Debrzno-Wieś is good. Common hornbeam avenues, glades and valuable old - growth forest with native species have been preserved here, but there is also no shortage of species of foreign origin.
