Silvarum Colendarum Ratio et Industria Lignaria

Dendroflora of the historic park adjacent to the eighteenth-century Wybicki manor house located in Sikorzyno near Kościerzyna in the Pomorskie voivodeship was surveyed. This place existed as a garden in the 17th century and was transformed into a landscape park in the second half of the 19th century. It has a rich history and fully deserves to be protected. A total of 331 trees, 103 shrubs and 9 climbers belonging to 39 species and 22 families were surveyed. The most frequent species here include Tilia cordata, Thuja occidentalis and Acer platanoides. The health condition of 93.1% trees growing in this park is regarded as very good or good. Nine trees are of nature monument size and 21 of monumental size or grand size. The surveyed park is of great dendrological value and it is also used for scenic, educational, recreational and leisure purposes.
